This is an upbeat acoustic-pop tune with jazzy upright bass and sparkly organ textures. In contrast, the lyrics are somewhat sad and vulnerable. In this song, I’m basically making fun of myself. I’ve always been a sensitive person who had trouble with receiving constructive criticism, taking things too personally, or reading too much into other people’s comments. It’s something I’ll probably have to work on forever, and this song represents a step in the right direction.
